If you are a blogger, chances are that you have researched how to start making money with your business. After all, you are building this amazing resource, you might as well leverage it! So let’s walk through the fast track to making money blogging (without all the hustle.)

First, let’s talk about the elephant in the room….. all of the hustle!

If you’ve done much searching on Google or Pinterest for making money blogging, you’ll find a lot of strategies that revolve around a TON of posting, pinning, and busywork.

Now, there’s no doubt that getting your blog off the ground takes work. It requires that you write great posts, get your SEO right and that you get yourself visible.

But here’s the rub. Many blogging strategies that are out there, simply stop at that point.

Lots of traffic can lead to monetizing through ads and even being an affiliate for products. And income from those sources is great! But it’s really hard to get a LOT of income from those sources.

An alternate option is to test out becoming a brand ambassador. There are lots of companies that will simply pay you to regularly talk about their products and their brand!

But also, you’ll want a faster way to some more income… After all, most of us like a good shortcut!

The fastest way to make MORE money, is by selling your own products.

Think about it! If someone clicks through your Amazon affiliate link and buys a product there, you may get $1-$2. Sure, you’ll take it…. but that was a LOT of work and hustle for an occasional $1.

If you are selling a product that you own and have created…. you get the profit. As in, all of it. Profit margins are the absolute best on your own products.

How do I know what product is right for me to sell?

There are several questions to consider when you are deciding on your first (or next) product.

#1: How much of your time, energy, and effort do you personally want to give to purchasers?

Things like personal coaching, mentoring, and leading require you.

You will need to show up to coach at a certain time. You will need to provide the energy and excitement – live – in order to build into your people.

On the other hand, products like workbooks, services, e-books and digital resources are often more “faceless.” Sure, buyers know your site and who they are purchasing from, but once they complete their purchase, you are not having to meet with them or coach.

For many people, they love nothing more than to lead and coach! For others, this just isn’t a match for their energy. Either is ok! We are all unique, and need to lean into what we each do best.

And so, decide if meeting with customers is your strength, or something you’d like to avoid. Respect that choice in the product you choose to create.

#2: Would you like to create a high-ticket or low-ticket product?

High-ticket offers are those that sell for anywhere from $2000-$15,000 or more! Low-ticket products can be anywhere from $17-$1000.

There are pros and cons to each.

You obviously need to sell very few high-ticket offers to make your goal amount of income. And these types of sales are exciting to make! However, these offers usually require a lot of focus and attention from you. You will be pretty deeply invested with each client that purchases from you. This time investment really allows your clients to see dramatic transformation, which is an exciting piece of coaching!

For low-ticket offers, they are often much easier to sell…. but you do need to sell a lot of them. The strategies are simply a little different than with high-ticket. You are trying to get your offer in front of as many people as possible. These types of products are usually pretty “hands off” from you. The customer purchases, and then you sell to the next person!

Decide which price level you’d like to be selling at. Which one is the right fit for you and your business?

#3: What type of ongoing schedule and time commitment does your real life support?

It’s best to take an honest look at this before you create your offer!

For example: Do you work from home? Do you have little kids at home with you? Are you running your blog while working a full-time job somewhere else?

All of the above situations MAY make it really difficult to lead coaching calls and meetings. If you really would like to start selling those types of products, it’s good to think through how you can logistically make that happen in your everyday life. Could you get a babysitter one day per week? Could you plan all coaching calls for the evening?

Take a look at your actual life. See what type of product is a good match for the phase of life you are in.

How to Fast Track Your Product Launch

I’m going to let you in on something I have now learned over and over.

You see, you can learn just about anything yourself online these days. But it often requires searching, and sorting, and testing, and in the end… you often aren’t sure if the source is trustworthy or not!

My advice: There is nothing that will fast track your income better than quality coaching.


When you find a coach that truly knows their stuff, all you have to do is follow the steps they outline for you! I don’t know about you, but I have a LOT to juggle at any given time, and I will gladly pay for someone to just tell me what to do when it comes to business!

Because, I could test out all the things on my own. But I want someone to tell me what the best option is for any given step along the way.
